weekend.

We had to go to the dreaded DMV on Saturday (again) so we tried to make the rest of the weekend less awful with some retail therapy, our favorite foods and a lovely sunset. We are loving having more routine in our lives. Now that Lance's job has more normal hours, things are a little more predictable and a bit less of a whirlwind. This consistency has certainly lowered my stress levels.

Speaking of Lance and his new job, I am one super proud wifey. He absolutely loves it! I feel like I'm married to an adult or something. And it might (just maybe) make me wonder if I should be trading in my many jobs for one normal job. Maybe, but probably not. I'm just not sure how thrilled I would be with the monotony of your typical day job. I kind of like having different things that I do every day hour, which might sound contrary to my love of consistency, but really, I thrive in controlled and consistent chaos. I'd be bored without it.

I agree about thriving in controlled consistent chaos; I have a subconscious love-hate relationship with it. And what lovely photos and great pictures of yummy things- which always appeal to my visual mental taste buds! -Jessica L

Controlled consistent chaos sounds like my kind of environment as well! I'm full time at uni, working 2 jobs and trying to maintain some semblance of a social life while I'm at it :P It's hectic but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Congrats to Lance on the new job! Glad to hear it suits you both so much :) Oh and super cute shoes! Where can I find a pair? :P Rhi xx
