Sometimes usually I have disastrous kitchen accidents, but other times I have happy ones. This particular accident falls into the latter category. Absentmindedly pouring chai concentrate into my coffee instead of milk one day turned out to be a wonderful mistake. In the past I have been known to order a "dirty chai" (or extra dirty if I'm feeling frisky!) from coffee shops, but for some reason had never considered doing it at home. I rather like the way spices up (pun intended) my daily cup o' joe.
I think it's best when you add shots of espresso to a chai latte, but just splashing some milk (love it with vanilla almond milk!) and chai concentrate to a cup of coffee does the trick as well.
Also, personal preference, but I will only drink Oregon Chai. Say no to Tazo. Blech.

this sounds awesome! where do you get oregon chai latte? i don't think i've seen it before! i'm going to have to give it a try! i love chai! and it sounds like a good alternative to spending $5 at starbucks :)
Oh my gosh, yum! I feel so slighted for never having known what a 'dirty chai' was until now! I need one immediately.
Ooohhh, I love this idea! Thanks for sharing, Kylee!
Have you tried Big Train chai? It's powdered and a bit sweeter, but significantly better than Oregon. Trust me! (If you like a sweeter chai!)
Loving your site by the way.
I completely agree with you on this one. I discovered oregon chai about a month ago and I quickly became a fan. Now I will have to try dirty chai and I am sure it will be very good.

Oh, I'm the biggest fan of chai green tea lattes, so anything with chai in it, I'm there. Gonna have to try this out soon!

I agree... Tazo = No! Have you ever tried David Rio Chai? It's a bet creamier, but amazing.

Ooh, that's brilliant. I just ran out of coffee this morning (NOOO) but now I know what I'll be trying when I'm back in the land of the living!
(and in response to Jenn's comment above, David Rio chai is AMAZING. Elephant vanilla all the way!)
