weekend with bffs <|

Thank goodness for the weekend! After the craziness that was last week, it was so incredibly wonderful to have a weekend. And not just any normal weekend, but one where two of my most bestest friends in the whole world visited from Portland! Christina and Gennie came up on Friday and and we spent the weekend olympic-opening-ceremony-watching, fancy-drink-drinking, rummikubing, breakfast-eating and farmer's-marketing.

Oh, how I miss living in college dorms and hostels in Italy and Germany with those two. But alas, sometimes people grow up and move away from each other and it's lame. Like Christina, who is leaving us for Philly, which is *ahem* WAY too far away. We've had four good friends move away from us in the past month. So, yeah. Tears and sadness. If only the world revolved around us and our living situation.

Oh, and besides all that, Lance's mom and aunt visited from Portland and made us some delish Puerto Rican food followed by gelato (duh, what else). And, on Sunday, we celebrated my wittle itty bitty baby sister's 21st birthday! Yikes. So old.

Aaaannnndddd Lance starts his new job today! So exciting.

Yeah, so, it's 2AM now. Why I am still up I have no idea. So goodnight or good morning or whatever. zzZZzzzZZzz....
