This weekend was the weekend of awful sickness. Mostly for Lance and only slightly under the weather for me. I'm sure he was thanking his lucky stars that we included the phrase "in sickness and in health" in our wedding vows or who knows if I'd still be here right now! It was brutal. But, being the good wife I am, I lovingly took care of the sickest person ever.
It was either food poisoning (he's convinced the delicious and lovingly prepared gyros I made on Thursday were the culprit) or a virus. I'm going with the virus since I had two of those bad boys without any stomach issues. We're still throwing away the leftovers, just in case. On the plus side, it gave me an excuse to go nuts disinfecting the apartment so now everything is sparkly clean and germ free!
{After lots of ginger ale and chicken soup, Lance is feeling much better today! Glad he didn't die even though he was pretty sure he was going to at one point.}

I love that that ginger ale has a 'gluten free' label on it. It makes my life so much easier when companies do that! I am now going to go on the hunt for that brand of ginger ale and give it a try!!

we've been sick around here too. i just bought the cheap kind of ginger ale...i'm jealous of the kind you bought.

On a side note, it's so funny to me how men can be when they're sick. The bf and I both had food poisoning last week (we ate the same thing, got sick at the same time, and had all the same symptoms). I still managed to get stuff done during those two days while the bf was convinced he was on the cusp of death!!
Yucky yucky! You are a better wife than me! When my hubby is sick I want nothing to do with him! :) I'm kidding! But I try to keep a safe distance as I'm serving him hot soup!

being sick is the worst. every time it happens to me i'm sure that i'm going to die, i'm just sure of it! I'm a big baby thank goodness for great moms because she loves me enough to take care of me! hehe... ginger ale is a lifesaver! Glad he is feeling better and thank goodness you didn't get it as bad as him! =)
Sorry you guys were feeling under the weather. We were also a bit under the weather over here. I decided to gorge myself with Indian food whilst 29 weeks pregnant. Bad idea.. vomiting all night!
